Someone's 21st birthday!

On Christmas Eve my baby girl will turn 21. I just can't believe it! I know it sounds cliche, but where does all the time go?! It really does seem like just yesterday that I held her in my arms that very first time!
It's also beginning to look at lot like Christmas around here (finally!) ...

I accomplished everything today that I set out to do - cleaned the house top to bottom, got all the laundry done, wrapped all the gifts, and made up my list of the few errands I still need to run.
My boys call our tree the Hanukkah tree. We aren't Jewish, but I have to admit, the colors do look rather Hanukkah-ish. I just couldn't resist buying ornaments that matched my living room about 10 years ago - it was the first time I had a real living room where the furniture was all new, matched and was actually purchased to fit perfectly in the room - I like to call it our acting like rich people tree ;-)
We still have our little live tree for the family room that we're planning to decorate with old fashion, handmade decorations for this year - that will be fun!
My daughter will be coming home from college tomorrow, and I've heard a rumor that Santa might stop by to leave a special note and some goodies for the boys too!
Let the festivities begin! Cheers! :-)

very very nice. have a nice birthday celebration.
Aren't Christmas babies great - always a great reason to be in a festive mood. We did the 21st with our son a couple of years ago and hubby was out in the rain under the patio umbrella trying to grill steaks LOL for son's choice of dinner. We had a great time! I hope your daughter has a very special 21st and Merry Christmas.
