Almost an optical illusion

It's a backwards shadow for Shadow Shot Sunday over at Hey Harriet, and also for Carmi's Thematic Photographic where this week's theme is green. Hurry, go play :-)

How fun! I feel backwards most of the time, so nice to know there's a tree who shares the same problem! Terrific shadow shot!

That's cool! Very mind boggling till you think about it.

Wow ... this shadow shot is great :-)

It really DOES look like the shadow is upside down... it feels as if the narrow part should be at the bottom... of course, I have never been very good with spatial arrangements.

great shot. And a great place to pass the day. We are in the mist of a record breaking heat wave here so shadow is a necessity.

Predicting 105 for tomorrow and only June.

good idea to keep the tree beyond in the frame! Nice work!

Wow, what a cool shot...almost looks like the shadow of the trunk is missing...what a neat optical illusion.

My Green photo is here if you'd like to take a look!
