Want to win a Virtual Vacation to Florida?
Here's how it will work. I'll have a drawing from the comments left on this post to chose a winning virtual tourist. The winner will send me their photo so they will be able to make an appearance in some of the photos of their Virtual Vacation - just like Flat Stanley! LOL!
You'll be staying at my house on your Virtual Vacation for two weeks and you will be appearing in a couple of special Virtual Vacation entries along the way. At the end of the two week Virtual Vacation the winner will receive a silly little tourist package by snail mail containing a couple of small souvenirs from my area of Florida.
Once you receive your tourist package you post a photo of the goodies you've received, along with links to your Virtual Vacation entries I've posted. Then you get to be the host of the next Virtual Vacation by offering your readers a chance to win a Virtual Vacation to your town! Pretty soon lots of people will be taking Virtual Vacations all around the world! Sounds like fun doesn't it?
If you'd like to play along just leave me a comment on this entry for a chance to win. I will number the comments in order of which they are received. You have 24 hours - 9pm tomorrow EST to play along, no exceptions. Once the contest is closed one of my boys will draw a number out of a bag to pick the winning virtual tourist. The winner will be announced in an entry on Monday and on the way to a Virtual Vacation in Florida.
A couple teeny little rules - Only one comment per person will apply. The winner must send me their photo and snail mail address within 24 hours of the post announcing the winner or they will forfeit their win and a new number will be drawn - please leave your email address in your comment so I can send you an email if you win and also a reminder to get the info to me right away. I think that's it!

That sounds like alot of work but I know you and you can handle it, especially with your boys to help!! Since I live down the road from you I'll not be playing along but I will come back to see what's going on ;~)

I haven't had a vacay in 3 years. God, do I need one. I know it's too late to win. Rich is on vacay right now for four weeks. What in the HELL am I going to do with him? LOL And we had a luau bday party for our 6 yr old granddaughter last night. My 6 yr old maltipoo jumped off daughter's lap & tore what is the equivalet of a human ACL. JUST what I DON'T need. An injured big baby because he IS a big ole sissy. Calgon take me away. LOL

Sounds like fun! Of course I'd rather go for real but a virtual vacation would be good. :)
How fun! Perhaps I could take someone on a virtual camping trip. Don't put me in the drawing, though, as I won't be able to comply with sending the photo in time.

Oooh! Martha, this sounds like fun! I'd love to visit you in Florida, even if virtually... I'd even send you my own Flat Bea! I'm not able to visit Florida this summer for real, but you know, I've done the Disney World trip last year, which was great fun, and exhausting...but a nice, friendly home visit actually is more my speed! I hope it's not too late to apply!
