Monday Munchies

The all new Monday Munchies meme has been posted over at The Krazy Kitchen! Monday Munchies is hosted by Cheryl.

I made this yummy little snack with the kids yesterday. It was super easy and a big hit! These are simply a package of Pillsbury bread sticks - each one stretched out extra long and thin, wrapped into a pretzel shape and baked at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. I brushed them with melted butter, sprinkled lightly with coarse kosher salt, and served with cheese dip and fresh fruit.

I hope to see you over at Monday Munchies! :-)

Mmm, those look better than mall pretzels! A lot less expensive too. :-P

Have you ever tried making them into stuffed pretzels? There's a snack place around here that sells delicious jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzels. I might have to steal your recipe and try making them for myself!

Aren't those breadsticks wonderful? I loved to brush em with butter & top with a little parmesan or a lite topping of cheddar or mixed shredded cheeses. Thanks for sharing. I'll have to make them pretzel shape for the girls. Tney will think it's fantastic.

Martha:

I love the food and your hard work making your house a home!

My favorite photo this week is "This Way Thursday." The illusion of the ocean being above the steps if fab, fab, fabulous.

Thanks for stopping by Greensboro Daily. Our posts aren't usually so "homey" and personal but the response has been great.

This is a creative way of making heart shaped pretzels. So simple and very inexpensive. Cherries are one of my favorites. Our cherry season is over now and the ones sold in the market are soft. I like them hard. I am not so much a cheese eater.
