Header Challenge Time

The Header this week...

I can't believe it's time for this week's Headbanger's Header Challenge already! This week's theme is "See the birdie!" As you can tell by my header I decided to be a little different and take it literally. My kitty definitely said to me "Look Mommy, I see the birdie!" Yes, my kitty calls me Mommy - you have a problem with that? ;-)

Now on to some pretty Florida birds. Let me know which is your favorite!

The team of Headbangers are Tom, imac, Tom-Ass, Darla, Gailsman and me! Be sure to check out all the great "See the birdie" headers and entries today!

Martha: What a great series of big bird captures. My favorite would be the pelican but I loved them all. Neat interpretation of the header theme.

Ilove them all Martha, yes - kitty sees the birdie.

A great slant on the theme Martha.... I do not know the names of them but I like the bottoms best followed by the white one in second slot... but all are beautify... as all birds are.

Looks a big cat. Don't think he would be able to jump through the slats though!

Looks like most of those birds could eat your kitty!

I like the white crane but then I also like the pinks and blues in the pelicans feathers... of course they are all good! :)

Great header, super pretty kitty kat!
All those birds are beautiful, hmm, I like the last one the best.
Thanks so much, Happy Day to you.

I love the shot of the brown pelican - love the pink in the beak and the clear green water. My dog calls me Mommy, too. The cat ignores me except at snack time.

I think they are all really special but I am particularly fond of pelicans, having grown up near the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana. In that area we sometimes get them pretty far inland - they're probably just lost!

Delightful header! And some great shot of the Florida birds!

Well of course your kitty calls you mommy - it would be so disrespectful if it were otherwise, don't you think? Great header. Gorgeous bird shots. there is no way I could pick a favorite the way I love animals, but since I live on Flamingo Road, that would have to take my vote today.

What a cute header! :) I certainly don't have a problem with a kitty who calls her mum "mommy... heck, my pups call me mommy too. LMAO.

My fav bird in your series of photos would have to be the egret... I love their focus. Wish I had as much focus!

I love them all Martha. And you are very creative to come up with the cat watching. They sure do love them a bird. If they got it they probably would be too scared to do anything to it.

Ooh second blog today where I've been treated to pelicans! I rehabbed and injured pelican once and am absolutely in love with the birds. Wickedly intelligent, and they have wicked senses of humor too!
