A blast from the past

Wow, it's been almost a year since I've posted here - and this will be my last.

I'm not leaving blogging, but I have too many different blogs with too many different themes and too many different platforms. Social networking has become so out of control! I ditched facebook and twitter way back, now it's time to condense my blogs too. I am combining all of them into one blog. It's time to simplify.

Looking back to previous posts here it's harder to let it go than I thought it would be. Menagerie is almost 4 years old, and to top it off, this blog and it's name came along from combining all my of my old AOL blogs (or journals as we called them back then) which were started as early as February 2004. I actually started blogging even earlier than that but deleted my first blog and took about a year off in between. All together I'd say I've been blogging for close to 10 years now!

It's time to say goodbye to Menagerie, time to move on.

Some of you might remember my blog Seaside Simplicity. I hadn't been actively posting there much more than I had been here. Seaside Simplicity was originally my food blog, but after a lot of thought I decided on making Seaside Simplicity a theme free blog and the blog I will call home - the name alone fits everything I am striving for in my life.

It's time to slip on your flip flops, grab your beach chair, and join me at the all new Seaside Simplicity - I'll see you over there :)
